Update records
Change fields, add new deals, contacts and companies, link people to deals, add notes and fix mistakes, all by voice.
Everything on this page changes a tile in your session. Nothing reaches your CRM until you push it from Home. See Review and push.
Change a field
- "Move Northwind to negotiation."
- "She's the CFO now."
- "Add daniel at northwind dot com to that contact."
If you name a stage that is not on your pipeline, Birdie suggests the closest one and checks: "Closest I've got is Discovery Call, is that the one?"
You can also tap the pencil on any tile and change a field by hand. Birdie checks hand edits by the same rules, and tells you if it cannot make one.
Add a new record
Just name it. Birdie shows the tile straight away and checks your CRM in the background.
- "Just met Ryan Chong from MetLife."
- "New deal with Northwind, forty grand, closing end of Q3."
Birdie asks only when it has to:
- a name you did not give ("What should I call it?"),
- a stage for a new deal (it never picks one for you),
- which record you meant, when a name could be several.
Link people, companies and deals
- "Nick's on the Acme deal."
- "Sarah's moved to Initech."
- "Sarah's left Nexora."
Unlinking never deletes a record. A task can be linked to a record but not unlinked.
Add a note
Notes hold what is not a field value: why a deal is stuck, who really decides, what the competition is.
- "Add a note that they want two references."
- "Legal is the blocker."
- "They're comparing us to HubSpot."
Fix a mistake
:::warning Birdie cannot delete records Birdie can take a tile off your screen, but it never deletes anything in your CRM. To delete a record, do it in your CRM. :::
