Connectors overview
Which tools Chirp connects to, what Birdie does with each, and how connecting, reconnecting and disconnecting work.
Available connectors
Using something else? Every other tool in the Connectors list has a Request button. Tap it and it counts toward what we build next. Salesforce, Pipedrive and Zoho are on that list.
Connect a tool
- On Home, tap Connect tools, or go to Settings → Manage connectors.
- Find the tool and tap Connect.
- Sign in to the tool and approve access. (Granola uses an API key instead, see Granola.)
Birdie can also offer a Connect card during a session when it needs a tool you have not connected yet.
Rules of thumb
- One CRM at a time. Connecting a second CRM asks Switch to Attio? (naming the CRM you picked). Your records stay in the old CRM, but any changes you have not pushed to it are discarded. Choose Keep HubSpot (your current CRM) to back out.
- One account per tool. Connecting a different account of the same tool replaces the old one.
- Your own copy. Each rep connects their own accounts. If two reps connect the same HubSpot portal, each gets their own connection.
What gets imported
After that, Chirp keeps up with changes every few minutes. Starting a session also checks your CRM for changes straight away.
Reconnect
If a tool stops letting Chirp in (for example a password change or an expired grant), nothing is deleted. After a couple of hours you get a notification, for example HubSpot needs reconnecting, and the tool shows Reconnect in Connectors.
Tap Reconnect and sign in again. Chirp keeps everything it had and catches up on what it missed.
Disconnect
Tap Disconnect on a connected tool and confirm. Disconnecting removes from Chirp everything that came from that tool, including changes you have not pushed yet. It does not change anything in the tool itself.
Disconnecting in Chirp does not remove Chirp's access at the tool's end. To do that too, revoke Chirp in the tool's own settings (for HubSpot, Connected apps).
